I went to the post office today ,like many other times, to send a small package. The lady clerk ,who just put lotion on her hands, ruined my packaging by putting oily fingerprints all over it. When I pointed that out she just ignored it. When I spoke up to point it out again, she said in a very careless way “Sorry”. Followed by “ If you don’t like it go somewhere else” . I told her that she was very rude and incompetent. After that she told me to leave. I tried to speak to the post master but no luck, because he isn’t there. No such person. I had to go back home and repack, my time, my gas and my cost of shipping supplies. The post office here in Laramie is is indeed a poor operation.

Who ever is in charge of the Laramie post office should be fired. They refuse to answer the phone. There is no customer service. What a waste of our tax dollars. Our local box has a broken key. Could have been taken care of with a phone call being the box is one of the larger box’s for packages. Instead I have to drive down to the office itself to see 5 employees there 2 helping a lobby full of guest and the other 3 standing around. When I asked why they hang up the phone on customers I was told that no one is assigned to answer the phone so they simply don’t. My package in the box was ruined.

I had a laptop sent to the post office and for a week they have told my son it was not there. We indeed could track it there and a pic from ups that it is there. If they will not give him his package i will be turning this in as a theft.

Post Office is inept. You should shut down the website because the automated voice doesn't understand the human voice. It is obvious you will never speak to a human. Local post office operator line drops dead. We have now entered a time of postal service melt down due to the pandemic. You guys returned my mail to sender by mistake and I have a nightmare on my hands.

Nobody ever answers the phone here while other post offices do. They overcharge on special cards all the time. Other post office’s will tell the receiver that way more postage was put on than needed. And worst of all the Laramie Postmaster lied to me about everything concerning certified mail. The carrier just ripped off the part where I sign and dumped it in the box. No knock. When I asked the Laramie Postmaster why, he said “We don’t deliver certified mail anymore. We need to protect our carriers. We don’t want them to even ring the doorbell.” My brother who sent the certified mail asked his postmaster who said, “That’s ridiculous.” In any case, the Office of Consumer Reports for the national postal department called me and told me that everything my postmaster said was wrong And they are going to follow up on him. Score one for the consumers.

They do not answer their phone and have not delivered my package even though I scheduled redelivery twice and my address is eligible for redelivery. I am elderly with COPD and my package is a filter for my air filter and is a medical necessity.

Extremely slow delivery service. Consistently having issue receiving packages in a timely manner. Organization shows little to no competency and making matters even worse, they don't really care.

Phone number does not work. Rings until phone hanging up. Not going to drive to town to get "large envelope" that they don't know how to put into large envelope cluster box if lazy driver is carrying with them.

We paid $10 for 2 day shipping on 9/14. The tracking never updated past 'package had departed Laramie at 3pm." Now it is Friday, the package never arrived, and the tracking remains the same. My husband went to the post office today to get some answers, but since he was not a totally demanding jerk, Pedro sent him away with more questions. Wait 21 days and we can submit a claim to get the insurance money. This box contained caramels I had made myself using the best ingredients I could find, including vanilla beans shipped from Chicago. They were for my grandpa's 86th or 87th (cant keep track anymore) birthday. I am moved to tears when I think about it. Because I live in Laramie, does it mean I am second class citizen who shouldn't expect my mail to go anywhere? I am profoundly disappointed, and supervisors at this excuse of a post office should expect to hear from me. I am much more intense than my husband, so Pedro should have done a better job helping him because now you have to deal with me.

Horrid location to do business with!! Sent an Express package in December from KC to Laramie. Finally tracked it down at this office. The postal carrier decided she wasn't sure if the person on the package was there or not so she put the package in the back of the office. Didn't track it, didn't make a note about it, didn't try to deliver it, took me 2 weeks to track it down before someone found it.
Two weeks ago we mailed 4 cards from KC to Laramie (from same address to same address) all at the same time. Two arrived, two can't be located! They were mailed at the post office in KC in the indoor bin at the same exact moment!! Can't get anyone to answer any of the Laramie, WY postal numbers in the last 2 weeks.Another person sent a card from KS to same address in Laramie. It was sent 2 1/2 weeks ago. That card, with a check inside, never arrived. A 3rd mailing was sent out 10 days ago from OP,KS to the same address in Laramie. It's never arrived either. Neither has the package arrived. Again NO ONE ANSWERS the phone or calls back!!! So 6 items mailed to Laramie WY and only 2 arrived. Use UPS it's more reliable and better customer service.

Worst customer service I have experienced. I am not normally a person who complains, but the man I dealt with at this post office today was by far the rudest customer service person I have ever encountered. I had called the post office a few days ago to arrange an in store pick up for a package scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, but I am leaving town and wanted to receive it before my trip. The woman I spoke with took my name and phone number and said I would be able to pick up my package this morning. I went into the store and told the man at the counter I should have a package to pick up and explained the arrangements I made with the other worker. He was very rude and told me the package wasn't there without even checking my tracking number or looking for any information, he just said "sorry" and expected me to leave. I left but will do everything I can to not have to deal with this post office for the remainder of my time in Laramie.
